Hi,
I had radiation treatment for HN cancer almost 12 years ago. My skin has become so tight on the left side of my face that it is making me very uncomfortable. One pain specialists suggested a nerve block. He said is would numb the pain without causing a novacaine-like effect on the side of my face. Has anyone tried a nerve block for either side of their face?
BTW – I have tried myofascial release and trigger point therapy. This does provide some relief, but with the gift that keeps on giving, I feel I need to step up the intervention.
All ideas welcome.
