Organization Description: The Dysphagia Research Society (DRS) is an international and interprofessional association of multidisciplinary researchers and clinicians, including speech-language pathologists, gastroenterologists, otolaryngologists, radiologists, basic scientists, and others, focused on promoting research related to normal and disordered swallowing (dysphagia) and related functions across the life span. The Society was founded in 1991 and is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes. DRS organizes several educational activities throughout the year, including webinars, a conference for early career researchers, and our flagship event, the DRS Annual Meeting, which covers cutting-edge research from a wide range of disciplines with international representation. This upcoming year DRS will also be hosting the 3rd World Dysphagia Summit the week of March 13th, 2023, in San Fransisco!
