The State University of New York (SUNY) New Paltz chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is conducting a series of fund raisers for the National Foundation of Swallowing Disorders (NFOSD).
The second event is scheduled for Thursday October 24, 2013 at “McGillicuddy’s” from 5 – 9 PM. Ten percent of all dining sales will go to the NFOSD. Thank you McGillicuddy’s and thank you SUNY NSSHLA.

NFOSD asked why they selected NFOSD to provide this generous outreach effort. Arielle, president of this NSSLHA chapter, said, “SUNY New Paltz NSSLHA has selected the NFOSD as its charity of choice for the fall 2013 semester. Between its free informational brochures to its multimedia, comprehensive website, our membership was impressed by the NFOSD’s devotion to promoting public awareness of dysphagia.”

Our low cost structure allows us to direct over 95% of all donations to our mission of raising swallowing disorder awareness, direct patient support, and research funding.
