The Speech-Language Pathology Department at Nova Southeastern University will be holding FREE feeding screenings for babies ages 0-12 months on June 16th from 9am-12pm at our Tampa, FL campus. We are attempting to recruit families who have babies with breast or bottle-feeding concerns to participate in this opportunity. Jennifer M. Pusins, CScD, CCC-SLP, IBCLC is an Assistant Professor/Clinical Supervisor at Nova Southeastern University who specializes in infant/pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Dr. Pusins has extensive experience in infant/pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders and is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her research interests include NICU best practices, determining feeding readiness in preterm infants, medical aspects of feeding/swallowing disorders, and the impact of gastrointestional maturation on feeding/swallowing success in preterm infants.
